So Many Scams--Do we need a scorecard?

Scams of all kinds, as well as ineptly run businesses, are not new, nor are they limited to the internet. If you doubt this, just think of all the identity theft going on, mostly offline, and of all the businesses absconding with funds.

First prize in the biggest scam award category for 2008 goes to Bernard Madoff of Wall Street's Madoff Investment Securities LLC who ran a 50 BILLION dollar Ponzi scheme. He is currently in the lead for the award for biggest scam of the decade and will undoubtedly win it unless someone else manages to scam more than 50 BILLION. Anyone interested in winning this award needs to hurry since there is only a little over a year to do it in. Mr. Madoff is a former chairman of Nasdaq Stock Market.

Lately there has been a positive epidemic of scam/ineptitude on the internet. Lets take a look at the list:

Ad Surf Daily (with its spanish and chinese clones)
Frogress (vanished and with admin unreachable)
8 Daily Forever (attempting to refund money put into the program as much as possible)
My Turn 4 Bux (vanished with admin unreachable)
Premium Compounder (site is still up but not paying and admin unreachable)
Fast Profit Surf (site is still up but not paying and admin not responding)
Traffic Almighty (some members are reporting getting refunds)
Gigalido (not paying and not responding to support tickets)

Most likely gone:
Megalido (site is still up but funds have been reinvested and in a longer, lower profit investment without members' approval, we will have to wait until just before Christmas to see if miracles really do occur, and people get paid--if you do get paid, I suggest that you send a letter to Santa Claus because getting paid here is less likely than Santa Claus existing). Admin is not responding.
Daily Profit Pond (funds have been reinvested without owners approval in a longer term plan, but admin is responding to support tickets, so this one is not hopeless).
Tradelite (site is gone, admin is unreachable, address listed is not real--my personal opinion is that they are gone, but there is a minority opinion that they will be back, who knows maybe there really is a Santa Claus. It would be the right season for it, after all). Strictpay has given refunds of what little funds were left in the Tradelite account (about 3%).

Most likely not going away:
Cyncotrade (site is up and admin answers support tickets, payments are being made and posted on the forum, just running behind)
Daily Profit Pond (site is up but admin did reinvest funds in a longer, lower profit program without members' permission. Good probability of getting paid since admin does send out emails and answers support requests).

So where does that leave everyone? Hopefully being very cautious about where they put their money.

The only programs I can really recommend are
Vlane/Mrs. VIP
Ijoyaa Power Club and Message Magic matrix programs

Gold Nugget Invest
I am testing out another program which has been operating for over 2 years online. I have checked that they have been paying in full and on time. This program takes advantage of the differences in the odds that different bookmakers are offering. This is not betting, but a matter of taking advantage of what is offered. As long as they are reasonably good at maths there is no way for them to lose. That only proves that they will be making money (as long as they do not forget basic algebra or how to use their calculator), that does not prove that they are not going to run off with the funds or so badly mismanage the program that it goes down. On the other hand, very few scams last as long as this program has been operating.

These are the best programs I can find right now.
